What is the Zoo Snoods Affiliate Program and how does it work?

The Zoo Snoods Affiliate Program is a service that allows popular doggie influencers and Websites to earn commission on sales referred to ZooSnoods.com using specially tracked links. We provide you with custom links and banners that you can post on your Website. Then, when a visitor you refer to us makes a purchase, we keep track and give you a commission on the sale.

 

How do I sign up?

Just fill out the sign-up form, and you will be given an affiliate link that you can share to immediately begin earning referral commissions! 

 

I have a popular Instagram account for my dog.  Does it qualify?

Sure! We accept applications from all types of social media accounts and Websites that are relevant to and best showcase Zoo Snoods.  Some of our most common and successful affiliates are Instagram accounts featuring dogs!  But there are plenty of other great fits for our affiliate program, such as a popular YouTube channel, Facebook page, a doggie blog, and dog walkers and trainers.  We do NOT accept coupon and discount Websites.

 

Are there any fees?

Absolutely not.  Everything is 100% free!  All you need is a PayPal account where we can send your earnings.

 

Can I become an affiliate if I live outside the United States?

Yes. We accept affiliates from anywhere in the world, as long as Refersion supports your country of residence. Please keep in mind that all commission payments are currently made in U.S. dollars.

 

If I have multiple social media accounts or Websites, do I need to apply separately for each?

No. You should apply once, list all of your social media accounts and Websites on your application, and advertise Zoo Snoods on any/all of them once you are approved.

 

Do I receive any discounts on Zoo Snoods products since I’m an affiliate?

We provide custom discount coupon codes for our affiliates on a case-by-case basis.  Most of the time we’re happy to create a custom coupon code for you to use yourself, and to share with your followers.  However, these codes are not created automatically, so you will have to request one by contacting us directly at info@zoosnoods.com.

 

I want to do a Zoo Snoods giveaway on my social media account. Will Zoo Snoods help me?

We provide free Zoo Snoods to use as giveaway or contest prizes for some of our affiliates on a case-by-case basis.  We can even ship the prize directly to your winner!  We can also help promote and share your giveaway on our own social media accounts and Website.  If you’re interested in hosting a giveaway or contest, and would like us to sponsor it by providing products or special discounts, please contact us at info@zoosnoods.com.

 

I have a popular social media account where I review dog products. Will you send me a free Zoo Snood to review?

Possibly!  Any complimentary product requests should be sent to info@zoosnoods.com, and will be considered if you are registered to the Zoo Snoods Affiliate Program.  The larger and more influential your following, the more likely we will send some Zoo Snoods.

 

How do I know if my application has been received or if I have been accepted into the affiliate program?

If your application has been submitted correctly, you should receive a confirmation email from Refersion. If you do not receive this email, please check your spam folder. Otherwise, you might not have finished the process correctly and you should resubmit your application. Once approved, you will receive a welcome email from the affiliate manager.

 

How do I create links to ZooSnoods.com?

When you successfully sign up for the Zoo Snoods Affiliate Program, you will be given a link, which can be copied from the dashboard of your affiliate account at any time.  The link will look something like this:  http://www.zoosnoods.com?rfsn=111111.11x111&utm_source=refersion&utm_medium=influencers&utm_campaign=111111.11x11

Pretty long and ugly, right?  Luckily, you can easily shorten the link with bit.ly, which happens to be built right into the dashboard.  If you want a custom URL (e.g. www.zoosnoods.com/pages/happypup46), please contact us and we can create one for you!  But in the meantime, please just use the automatically created link provided upon signup.

 

How does the affiliate program know when I should receive credit for an order?

Our system tracks a cookie that is automatically applied to the computer of a person who clicks on a banner or text link that has your affiliate ID number embedded within it. Each banner or link that you create is specifically tagged with your Refersion ID number, letting us know that you deserve commission on the sales you send our way. You can access all of these banners and links by logging in your Refersion Account and choosing from any of the banners or simple text links available. These links can be used from any Website, put directly into a browser or emailed out in the case of text links. You can test a link by copying and pasting it into your browser. If you are directed to the Zoo Snoods homepage, the link is working.

 

When and how do I get paid?

We release payments at the end of every month, regardless of the amount of commission earned (some programs require affiliates to earn a minimum amount before releasing payment). 

 

What sales and revenue reports does Refersion provide?

Each transaction is logged on Refersion servers and is available for review. Refersion will provide tracking of your clicks, sales and commission, which can be broken down by product SKU. Please do not contact us for this information, since we cannot access your account.

 

 

What is your return days or cookie policy?

If a visitor comes to our Websites from your Website but does not purchase on that visit, you can still earn commission on sales from that customer if they return and make a purchase within 60 days. This works even if they navigate directly to the Website on a return visit as long as they haven’t deleted their cookies.

  

Do I earn commission credits if someone clicks on a product on my site and then buys a different product?

Absolutely! You will receive full credit for ANY product that is purchased by a customer who clicks on your affiliate link across ZooSnoods.com for 60 days!

 

How do product returns affect my commission?

If a customer returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited the commission. But don’t worry – we’ve built a great product and we expect extremely low return rates.
